The foundations of today's Symphony Coatings Group can be traced back to the late 1980s, when the Goldspeed distribution network was established to supply Kemira Coatings and Becker Acroma products. This pioneering distribution network laid the groundwork for what would become one of the UK's leading independent coatings distributors.
As the industry evolved, so did the business. The Goldspeed network later became Syntema, laying the foundations for what would eventually become the Symphony Coatings Group. Through strategic acquisitions, mergers, and continued organic growth, we've expanded into a nationwide business while remaining true to the values that have always defined us: technical expertise, exceptional service, and long-term customer partnerships.
One of our greatest strengths has always been our people. Many colleagues who joined the business through these acquisitions remain part of the Symphony Coatings family today, bringing decades of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and long-standing relationships with customers and suppliers.
