Interior Range
Sikkens continues to strengthen its interior wood coatings portfolio with the introduction of a new generation of high-performance systems. The latest range includes Aqualit (Water-based system), Beyond (Formaldehyde-Free) and Quantum (PU-Acrylic), developed to meet the evolving demands of interior joinery, furniture and fit-out projects where durability, finish quality and environmental performance are essential.
Beyond Range (Formaldehyde-Free)
Beyond represents the future of interior wood coatings - engineered to meet health and environmental regulations without compromising on performance. Delivers exceptional results while being formaldehyde free, offering ultra-low emissions for safer interior environments.
Ideal for interior applications and children’s toy's, Beyond enables manufacturers and applicators to meet tomorrow’s standards today.

Quantum Range (PU Acrylic)
Quantum is a chemically curing PU-acrylic system, combining advanced binder and hardener technology to deliver exceptional durability and performance. As a solvent-based polyurethane coating, the formulation reacts during curing to create a robust, high-performance finish.
Once fully cured, Quantum forms an insoluble and extremely durable PVC-safe coating film. The system offers outstanding chemical resistance, excellent surface hardness and long-term protection, making it suitable for all types of interior wood applications where strength and resilience are essential.
Aqualit (Water-based)
Aqualit represents Sikkens commitment to more sustainable, safer and low VOC coating solutions. With formulations typically containing a maximum 5% solvent, these water-based systems deliver some of the lowest emissions available within modern coatings technologies.
Recognised for exceptional chemical resistance, scratch resistance, stacking performance and efficient drying properties, Aqualit provides durability without compromising environmental responsibility. As the products are non-hazardous, they do not require specialist transportation - only compliance with frost protection guidelines.
Available in both 1K and 2K systems, Aqualit coatings can be used with a polyurethane hardener where required. However, selected innovative formulations within the range are designed to perform without the need for a hardener, simplifying applications while maintaining high performance standards.
